Hi, I'm Quintin LaFoe, a photographer.

      I specialize in film photography, and am located in Rochester, New York. Okay, some something more about me and what I do. Here we go: I love to reminisce. I love to think about things that get my atoms buzzing about. One way I do that, is through photographs. They connect me to the past, and keep me excited about the future.

 

I love to play around and capture candid moments of friends and loved ones, finding what makes something alluring, and framing it with my lens. Capturing a little essence of someone, or something, it feels magical. 

 

The vivacious allure of a woman in a colorful dress, the monochrome subtlety of a furrowed brow in black & white, the contrast in a cats tiger stripes, sunlight beaming its way through a dangling leaf in an autumn afternoon. These are things that I find captivating. I pass by them, noticing little inflections, moments of beauty and character, and because of photography, I get to look back, I get to access that spark.
